So, in case you didn’t know I’m a huge fan of Daredevil. My phone is Daredevil themed, I have a little Daredevil hanging from my key-chain, I own multiple Daredevil t-shirts…I’m DD fan. So, when the first season of the Netflix show appeared all those months ago, I took my time. I slowly (over the course of three days) watched each episode, enjoying each one to the fullest. However, with Season Two, I wanted a different experience. This time, I wanted to fill my eye holes with non-stop (nearly non-stop) Daredevil goodness.
Now, when I enjoy things such as Daredevil, I’m quite reactionary. I often scream and yell, throw my hands into the air, I’ve cried, jumped out of my chair, walked out of the room only to return completely distraught, yelled at the characters, cheered for the characters, and on more than one occasion, I’ve offered hive-fives and hugs to various characters. So, when Daredevil Season Two was announced, and the air-date was set, I thought it would be fun to set up a camera, thus capturing my overreactions as I binged the show. However, things didn’t go off as smoothly as I’d hoped. The camera was messed up for the first two episodes and I didn’t realize it until after the second, which is why I have nothing for first and pic from my phone for the second. The remaining 13 episodes however…well…I’ll let you judge for yourself. Here is my episode by episode review/reaction to Daredevil Season 2, which I live tweeted and posted on Instagram throughout the entire day.
About 5min after that last picture I was passed out in bed. My personal opinion of the show: I liked this season better than the first, and Jon Bernthal absolutely crushed his role as Punisher. Would I binge watch thirteen hours of a show again? Maybe, if the show was good enough to keep me going, which means I’ll definitely being doing this again for Luke Cage, as well as Iron Fist. See you all on Monday, enjoy your weekend, and Daredevil Season 2. I’ll probably be re-watching it again over the next few days.
